Whistleblowers

The request was successful.

Dear Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman,

Since the union's disparaging evidence to PASC on the state of the PHSO's employee relations and the pressure of the backlog of cases, I have been wondering about the PHSO's Whistleblowing policy.

Clearly an organisation which is really serious about hearing complaints will have paid close attention to the number and outcomes of complaints received in this way. And should therefore have these statistics to hand.

Therefore I request to know:

1. When the Whistleblowing policy was introduced?

2. How many employees have used, or registered, a whistleblowing complaint?

3. How many of these complaints gave been resolved to the satisfaction of the whistleblower? And in this, I mean that the Whistleblower has signed the complaint off to his/ her satisfaction.

4. How many whistleblowing complaints have been withdrawn?

5. How many whistleblowers have left the PHSO, after making a complaint via this system?

Yours faithfully,

Dear foiofficer,

Thanks for the offer...

Butt it's now in review on the grounds of failure to reply in time, according to WDTK.

Really? A Whistle blower has never complained under PHSO Whistleblower policy! I wonder how much it was highlighted?

^^^^^^^^

That was Dee's post above.

The WDTK website appears to have mixed up our accounts.
