Wendy Simon -Acting Mayor of Liverpool, has 21 Directorships plus 3 other jobs can she explain this?
Dear Liverpool City Council,
Forward to; Max Caller & Chris Walsh, Cllr Liam Robinson & Cllr Sue Walker.
1.. What information does the council hold on the payments to Councilor Wendy Simon’s surgery getting a payment of over £1,900.00 from Mr. Kerry Tomlinson/ Primesite developments Ltd, when his company was building the project known as -The Rise- in her ward?
2.. Please provide all this information why this payment was made to her surgery at the Central Youth Club Walker Street and why from Mr. Tomlinson?
3... Was Councilor Wendy Simon at one time a full-time resident in Kensington or Fairfield when she became a member of the Liverpool City Council?
4... Has Councilor Wendy Simon ever held any meeting whatsoever with the developer of the project known as the rise, Mr. Kerry Tomlinson or to try to investigate the loss of construction jobs on this failed site?
5... Did Wendy Simon not alert the Liverpool Echo to the fact it ( The Rise) was never going to be finished and that many investors including some medical staff (NHS) where misled into investing into the Rise?
6... The Liverpool Echo was made aware of the facts 2 years ago and did nothing, at the same time the Liverpool City Council was also sent information on this site and on Mr. Kerry Tomlinson and still there was no response, at the same time the Green Party and Cllr. Richard Kemp was updated on this site and other years ago.
What did Cllr Wendy Simon do with her report on this matter to alert the SFO and try to expose this scam?
7... In total what would be the Acting Mayors (Wendy Simon) allowances of all her 21 directorships in a number of companies in Liverpool?
Would it be fair to say the acting Mayor could not have the time to be a councilor of Kensington and Fairfield at the same time the new acting Mayor of Liverpool and be involved in over 21 other companies in Liverpool, could the LCC explain this to the ratepayers of Liverpool please?
Yours faithfully,
K. Thomas, and some residents of Kensington Liverpool

Perhaps, for clarity you should make clear that by “allowances” you mean renumeration or remittances? Although the Register of Interest has been updated with a reference for positions held, there are no details as to duration of appointment or the renumeration that comes with appointments. As such, this ‘disclosure’ does not achieve anything in terms of improving #transparency or #accountability at Liverpool City Council. This half measure of public disclosure could be viewed as a cynical attempt to appear actively engaged in addressing existing problems, otherwise known as #ImageLaundering
