Welsh government guidance on administration of Covid-19 business support grants

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,

Your website states that the Welsh Government has set the rules regarding administration of support grants, specifically regarding the rigid date of eligibility and invalidity of backdated NDR registrations.

However, Denbighshire Council state unambiguously that the Welsh Government has allowed discretion in regard to backdated NDR registrations with the "over-riding principle" that businesses needing support should receive it.

Please provide the guidance you have received from the Welsh Government on this, in particular any specific guidance either allowing or prohibiting discretion over backdated NDR registrations and any over-riding principles to be followed.

Yours faithfully,

Joe Horner

Dear FOI,

Thank you for considering this request.

I've now received the information I needed directly from the Welsh Government and don't wish to use more of your time just to get an extra copy of the same so I'm withdrawing this request.

Thank you again for your time so far.

Yours sincerely,

Joe Horner
