confirm TfL does hold the information you require. You asked for:

 

1.    The delivery and first service date for each of the nine New Bus for
London prototypes and pre-production vehicles ordered for London (LT1-LT9)

There is also a technical proving vehicle (designated AE217) which will
not enter the service and which was delivered to the Millbrook proving
ground on 13 May 2011.

 

There was a full-scale mock up of the New Bus for London and this was
introduced to the London Transport Museum on 4 November 2010.

 

2.    The official kerb weight for each of the nine New Bus for London
prototypes and pre-production vehicles ordered for London

 

The kerb weight for the new bus is 12.650 tonnes.

 

3.    The placarded capacity (upstairs seating/downstairs
seating/downstairs standing) for each of the nine New Bus for London
prototypes and pre-production vehicles ordered for London

 

The target capacity is a total of 87. There will be 22 seats and standing
space for 25 passengers on the a lower deck and 40 seats on an upper deck.
It should be noted that the current vehicles on route 38 are prototypes,
subject to modification, following a period of evaluation. They currently
have a slightly lower capacity of around 83 passengers but once design
refinements are made to the first generation of production vehicles, this
will rise to the anticipated number of 87.

Dear Mr Barry

 

We have provided the below response to your request for information
recently.

 

However, we have since become aware that an incorrect figure was provided
for the current passenger capacity due to an administrative oversight. The
actual figure should have been 77 and not 83.

 

As I stated in my response, once design refinements are made to the first
generation of production vehicles, this will rise to the anticipated
number of 87.

 

Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this might have caused.
