• Date of the next tender for the “Collection and Disposal of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and Batteries.

• Also a copy of the previous successful tender for the collection and disposal of WEEE.

Dear Claire,

Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust can confirm that the disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is not subject to a tender process as the value is approximately £6k per year and we ask for quotes against each item. The Trust is reviewing the current arrangements re: WEEE disposal to ensure best practice.
