Dear Miss Preston,

In your recent correspondence you gave a date for completion of 12 January 2011 but I have still heard nothing. It would be helpful if you could let me know what is happening as you have already upheld my previous complaint about your late response to this Freedom of Information request.

My next port of call will be the ICO.

Dear Ms Swift

I write further to your request for information. I apologise for the
delay in repling. Your request sought:

"In 2004 Westminster City Council came to an agreement with Shirley Porter
to repay £12.3 million to the Council.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 could you confirm the name of
the mediation company used by WCC in the agreement process.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 200 could you confirm the amount paid
to the mediation company used by WCC in the agreement process."

The response to that request is:

The name of the mediator was William Marsh, we do not however hold any
information on how much the mediation cost. For your own information, the
mediator was instructed and paid by external solicitors in 2004, hence why
we no longer hold that information.

Regards

Hayley Davies
