Dear Crimmins, Jean,
Thank you for your reply. Just for absoloute clarity, can you please indicate whether the figures that appear on the spreadsheet you have supplied are an indication that Wallasey fire station was crewed by an ON SITE team of firefighters ready to IMMEDIATELY respond to emergency calls. If not can you update the figures accordingly. I thought my original request was quite clear, at no point did I request details of changing shift patterns or details of central government budget cuts.

Yours sincerely,

Mark Hazlehurst

From 1/8/2018 - 1/8/2019 days. From 1/8/2018 -1/8/2019 nights.
From 1/8/2017 - 1/8/2018 days. From 1/8/2017 - 1/8/2018 nights.
From 1/8/2016 - 1/8/2017 days. From 1/8/2016 - 1/8/2017 nights.

The response that we provided to you on 16th September 2019 answered your request as it confirmed the number of times that Wallasey Fire Station has been closed/"off the run". With regard to your further enquiry below; the information you are asking for is different to that asked for in your original request and will require further analysis of our records.

If you wish to request this additional information, it will be processed as a new request for information. Please advise me if you want to proceed with this new request.

With regard to your comment about not requesting information about details of changing shift patterns or details of central government budget cuts, under Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we are obliged to provide advice and assistance to a requester. As such, the intention was to provide you with helpful background information to add some context to the statistics you had requested.
