Dear Cheshire Constabulary,

Could you please provide me with a list of inventory that is standardly carried by all officers alongside equipment carried in all vehicles.

For example:

Response Officer: Handcuffs, ASP Baton, Flashlight, Stab Vest

Incident Response Vehicle: Police Tape, First Aid Kit, etc.

I would like individual lists, a pdf, word or excel format is acceptable, for each vehicle type/classification and officer. Including firearms officers and cars, dog handlers and cars, etc etc.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding, I am writing in
response your email dated 15/04/2021, requesting an independent appeal
against the decision made in relation to your request for information
under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

Your original request

Could you please provide me with a list of inventory that is standardly

When on operational duties all uniformed police officers must be in

possession of the following items:

1. Body armour

2. Handcuffs

3. Baton

4. Captor spray

5. Personal protection pouch

6. Radio

7. Body Worn Video Camera if issued

The Constabulary’s response to your appeal

The appeal process is to review the original request and the process
undertaken to achieve the disclosure. I can confirm that I have reviewed
your original request and the initial response sent to you and your
internal review has been partially upheld.

 

Your original response was a response to 3 requests which were amalgamated
as they were all subject related.  A response was provided under question
7 (under 13557 and question 13 as shown above, whilst this covers what you
have requested in general terms it doesn’t provide many specifics. 

 

Question 7,  equipment carried in standard response vehicles include;

a)    red and white cones/ collapsible cone set

b)    accident sign frame

c)     Accident sign covers

d)    ‘SLOW’ panel

e)    blue flashing lights

f)      first aid kit

g)    Life hammer

h)    Fire extinguisher

i)      Cordon tape

j)      Evidence boxes & bags

k)     throw rope

l)      brush

m)   shovel

n)    Water

o)    breath kit

p)    Breath kit tubes
