Dear East Sussex County Council,

Please can you provide me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

1. A list of vehicles owned or leased to the council. Please include; registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type.
2. Of the vehicles leased, a list of the companies from which the vehicles are leased.
3. Name, position and email address of the staff responsible for these vehicles.
4. If your refuse collection is outsourced please provide the name of the company responsible and a list of the vehicles used for this purpose including vehicle registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type.

Thank you for your request for information about the above. Your request
was received on 16/04/2014 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The information that you have requested in question 3 is third party personal
data, as defined by Section 1 Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). Such information is
exempt from disclosure under the authority of Section 40(2) FOIA. Under some
circumstances we do disclose the names and contact details of our staff. But this
only where we have assessed that to do so would not breach the Data Protection
Principles ( Schedule 1 DPA). On this ocassion we have not made such an
assessment and we will not be releasing this information.

 

4. East Sussex County Council is not responsible for refuse collection. If you
have not already done so, you may wish to contact the District and Borough
authorities within East Sussex, who carry out this function. Contact details can
