Variable speed limit on m1 motorway on December 20th 2020

We're waiting for Billcocauli to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Highways England Company Limited,

I would like to request information asto the variable speed limit signs that were in operation on the m1 4550B j33_j32 southbound on the 20_12_20 from 08 00hrs to 0900 hrs
Could you please provide information in regards variable speed limit at this time and when variable speed limit started and changed and for what reason.

The information you have requested is information we make available to the
public on a regular basis. Your request has been handled under normal
business practices and not in accordance with the Freedom of Information
Act/Environmental Information Regulations.

 

Speed limits were set due to a broken down vehicle near marker post
252/8B. The incident commenced at 07:27

 

Signal 4550B between 8am – 9am

 

07:54 – 50mph

08:49 – 60mph

08:53 – 50mph

08:59 – 60mph

09:09 – National Speed Limit

 

Enforcement of speed limits is the role of the police. Part of the
evidence they obtain are images which show the vehicle as it passes the
enforcement camera site. You can view this image by requesting a copy from
