The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

 

1 - How many qualified social workers were working on a temporary (agency)

Answer: 6

 

 b. Adults’ Services social work roles

Answer: 21

 

2 - How many qualified social workers were working on a temporary (agency)
basis at the Council on 3rd August 2020, split by:

 

 a. Children’s Services social work roles

Answer: 0

 

 b. Adults’ Services social work roles

Answer: 14

 

3 - What was the total spend by your organisation on temporary (agency)
social work professionals during the financial year 1/4/19 to 31/3/20?

Answer:

Adults - £1,110,519

Childrens - £858,039
