Dear Phil Beschizza,
Thank you for your response to my earlier request.
I understand that each individual registered on Landmark now has a unique identification number. This being the case, it is now easy to determine the actual number of individual members registered on the Landmark database overall. In the figures you have previously given me there will be some "double counting" as many of the energy assessors are registered in more than one category. For example, many domestic energy assessors are now also accredited for non domestic energy assessment too.
I would therefore be grateful if you would give me the overall total of energy assessors in all categories; including air conditioning, by using their unique registration numbers. Also, can you please confirm the number of energy assesors on the Landmark database who are accredited for air conditioning, as I omitted to ask that in my previous request.
Yours sincerely,
Jim Gillespie
Dear Mr Gillespie,
Thank you for your email.
The unique assessor ID number that you have referred to in your email is a term used for the "logical link" which enables Accreditation Schemes to monitor SOR requirements in relation to energy assessors. Assessors are not allocated an individual ID number. The process is not 100% accurate because it will depends on what information Schemes have provided during the upload process and the format in which it is presented.
We do not hold the information in the format you have requested and are, therefore, unable to provide you with this information.
Yours sincerely,
Phil Beschizza

Thanks to Mr Jim Gillespie for requesting this information, as a DEA I find this very interesting.
I have recently discovered that there is an addition which Landmark can add to the register against an assessor as follows: 'This assessor was registered with <Accreditation Scheme>, however they are currently not practising.
As Mr Gillespie only asked how many assessors of each type were on the register, do we know if the figures quoted include assessors with this annotation?
