The request was successful.

Dear Heriot-Watt University,

What IT Research providers are you using for either your IT Services department, Academic Staff and Students?

Do you have a subscription with Gartner?

How much do you pay annually for this subscription?

When does this subscription end?

Who uses this subscription?

Who makes the decision to acquire, is it Library or IT Services?

Who is the contact to speak to about providing technology based research?

Yours faithfully,

Dan Walk

Dear Freedom Of Information,,

IT research providers - companies such as Gartner, Forrester, Ovum

Universities use these providers for their students to help them in courses around computing, cyber security, big data etc. Academic Staff use it to help build assignments. and IT services may use these reports to help with IT requirements.. I wanted to know which ones the university uses.

Yours sincerely,

Dan Walk
