As this document provided by Royal Mail has potentially changed over time, could I please request that Royal Mail confirm this document is still current or that an updated version is provided, please. Alternatively, could you please confirm that undeliverable franked mail is destroyed, treated as sensitive waste and not opened. Thank you.

Dear Mr Hynes,

 

Thank you for your email received 16 September 2018 in reference to a
previous FOI request relating to the policy regarding the process for
undeliverable mail.

 

Following the flotation of Royal Mail on the London Stock Exchange in
October 2013 Royal Mail are no longer obliged to respond to requests for
information under the terms of the Act.

 

Royal Mail does however, publish some information relating to
undeliverable items year. These can be found on our website:
