UK no scan no fly policy
Dear Civil Aviation Authority,
The CAA is in the process of taking over many of the functions, including security, of the Department for Transport.
(1) Did the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) make a submission to the March 2010 Department for Transport (DfT) consultation on airport body(security) scanners?
(2) If the answer is yes, then could you please supply me with a copy of this submission?
(3) Has the CAA informed the DfT that it agrees with them that passengers should not be offered an alternative screening measure to body scanners?
(4) Does the CAA regard the UK no scan no fly policy to be in accordance with EU law?
(5)Does the CAA regard the UK no scan no fly policy to be proportionate?
Yours faithfully,
M Boyce
