Dear FOI,

I acknowledge receipt of your letter.

I will be appealling this FOI through the appropriate body owing to:
- Your refusal to supply information to a legitimate FOI, including your university's procurement protocol;
- Implying that a standard and legal FOI is 'vexatious';
- Your deliberate refusal to supply the information within the prescribed timescales.

Yours sincerely,

Dear FOI,

I am updating the status of my FOI on the 'What do they Know' website, and the only means to generate a narrative update is to do so by generating a letter. There is no need to respond to this letter but the details in this letter are for the public transparency of this FOI request:

- Your accusation of 'vexatious' was appealed and deemed incorrect by the appeals contact;
- The appeals contact responded partially to the FOI in terms of information, but did respond in full to each request point in terms of narrative/explanation;
- A number of things came to light in the appeal, namely the communication between the FOI decision maker and the consultant who is the subject of this FOI - this is now the subject of a complaint to the ICO and a data disclosure has been submitted on that communication with the consultant.

Yours sincerely,
