I write in response to your request for information dated 19^th November,
2015, received by the University and passed to me as the University’s
Freedom of Information Officer for action.
In response to your first question:
Staff terminated between 1st April 2010 and 1st April 2015
There were 1,495 members of staff whose contracts of employment were ended
by the University between 1^st April 2010 and the 1^st April 2015. Please
note that this figure does not include those voluntarily resigning from
their positions but does include those employed on short-term and
temporary contracts.
In response to your second question:
Staff Hired between 1st April 2010 and 1st April 2015
The total number of people starting their employment at the University
between 1^st April 2010 and 1^st April 2015 was 2,653.
I hope the University has made its response in a clear and constructive
manner; however, if you consider the University has handled your request
