Dear West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner,
The TTC group carry out driver awareness training on behalf of yourselves in a contract awarded in February 2020.
1)The TTC group are advising the community in writing that is is both consistent and fair to levy charges in excess of 50% of the original paid course fee to rebook a course in the event of a COVID19 Impact on the attendee.
2) The TTC group are advising the community in writing that if they (TTC) cancel an exisitng booking the rebooking fee, in excess of 50% of the course fee still applies.
3) I do not believe that a rebooking fee in excess of 50% of the original course fee would be considered reasonable by a court at this current time or at anytime as it is patently excessive.
I realise you are unlikely to make the entire contract available to me because it may be deemed commercially sensitive. I would like you to confirm whether the above three elements are correct according to the contract WMP have let to TTC.
