Trees removed vs planted in 2016
Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Having noticed across the Borough but particularly where i live in Bebington there has been a visible decline in the roadside tree environment over the last 5 years.
Numerous trees have been removed or fallen, examples being on Kings Road, Kings Lane, Shawbury av and no new planting has taken place. fully understanding that trees have to be removed and replaced but only removal appears to be taking place across Wirral which is a concern.
Please confirm:
1. How many trees were removed from roadside locations across Wirral during 2016
2. How many trees were planted in roadside locations across Wirral during 2016
Yours faithfully,
W MIller
