Further to your email dated 7 December 2010, in which you have requested
information in respect of travel and subsistence payments. We have
considered your request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act
2000 and are able to supply you with the following information in response
to your questions below:

I would like to know

(i) the total travel costs, including travel and subsistence payments, for
2009/10 and 2010/11;

(ii) the total travel and subsistence payments for 2009/10 and 2010/11

(iii) the total cost of travel by (a) trains, (b) planes and (c) taxis in
2009/10 and 2010/11

(iv) the total cost of hotels in 2009/10 and 2010/11

(v) the total spent on travel costs, including travel and subsistence
payments, for travel (a) in the UK and (b) outside the UK in 2009/10 and
2010/11.

I am able to provide you with the following information in respect of
questions i-v: unfortunately due to the manner in which the information is
held we are unable to provide detailed breakdown of the information as
requested.
