Dr Matthew Child

Dear General Medical Council,

I wish to make an enquiry about the training of all your staff about transgender issues. This is NOT a request for the number involved historically in transgender cases. I wish to enquire about.
-The GMC's training of its staff with respect to transgender issues within the past two years?
-How many staff do you employ and how many have has transgender specific training?
-How many cases you've had in the past two years which have involved gender dysphoria/gender identity issues?
-How many of the these cases have involved a referral to transgender specialist care?
Should any have relevant training please detail what this has involved. I do not expect you to name staff individually.

On a different subject, please tell me how many of your staff have unspent criminal records and what these are related to.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Matthew Child
