Dear NHS England,

I would be grateful for the following information:

- Can you please provide information about the transforming care programme that includes budget and break-down of spending between paying for psychiatric hospital placements and paying for or contributing towards community care placements over the last three years? Please provide a yearly break down of the figures.
- Have you funded any bespoke community care placements in the last three years? Please provide a yearly break down.

I would be grateful for the following information:

-           Can you please provide information about the transforming care
programme that includes budget and break-down of spending between paying
for psychiatric hospital placements and paying for or contributing towards

Under Section 1(3) of the FOI Act, an authority is not obliged to comply
with an FOI request when it reasonably requires further information in
order to identify and locate the information requested.

NHS England does commission hospital stays for patients with LD/ASC –
those that fall within the scope of the services commissioned by
specialised commissioning.

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) also commission the services that
fall within their commissioning responsibilities.
 
Can you please clarify what type of hospital provision you are interested
in?

There are different sorts of beds and NHSE and CCGs commission for
different groups of people/ types of need, E.G. for adults there are acute
psychiatric beds; psychiatric intensive care units; forensic services
(low, medium, high secure), etc.

Please be assured we are keen to assist with your enquiry. However, we
cannot guarantee that Section 12 or any other exemptions under the FOI act
will not apply to any further information requested.

Can you please clarify what you mean by a “psychiatric hospital
placement”?

NHS England and Clinical Commissioning Groups CCGs) commission for
different groups of people and on different types of needs.

For example, for adults there are acute psychiatric beds, psychiatric
intensive care units, forensic services (low, medium, high secure) etc.

Given these different hospital provisions, we are unsure as to which
hospital provision you wish a breakdown of spending for.
