I am writing to confirm that the Council has now completed its search for
the information which you requested on the 12th of May 2009.

The information you requested about what training the staff who deal with
data protection and freedom of information on a day to day basis have
received is as follows:

The staff who deal with FOI and data protection requests on a daily basis
have received training from external organisations such as Act Now and PDP
and have attended in-house training course which are provided on a regular
basis. The Information Co-ordinators meet on a quarterly basis to discuss
issues and to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field.

If you are unhappy with the way the Council has handled your request, you
may ask for an internal review. You should contact Gwenan Parry, Head of
Customer Care, Gwynedd Council, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 1SH, if you wish
to complain.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
