Traffic Order for works between Abergwyngregyn and Tai'r Meibion on the A55

Dear North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent,

I am applying for access to information concerning the Traffic Order for the temporary speed limit in force on the A55 from Abergwyngregyn to Tai'r Meibion. Also, information concerning the revocation of the previous national speed limit, application of the regulations, consent of the Secretary of State, the Inspectors report, making of order, press notices and the notice in public enquiry.

I understand that these requests can take time to fulfil however this request has a matter of urgency as it relates to an upcoming important court trial.

Dear Mr Tildesley

 

 

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of the 8 September which
has been forwarded to the Welsh Government for response by the North and
Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA).

 

 

The Welsh Government and its Ministers are responsible for the Motorway
and Trunk Road network and their associated assets. The A55 is a trunk
road.

 

 

The Temporary Traffic Prohibition and Restriction (TTPR) Order and Public
Notice relating to the TTPR Order for the scheme are attached.

 

 

There were no statutory objections to the draft Orders for the improvement
scheme and therefore a Public Local Inquiry (PLI) was not held and
therefore there are no Inspectors Report/ notice of PLI.

 

 

The made Side Roads Order (SRO) and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) for
the scheme can be accessed on the Welsh Government’s website at:
