Dear City of Edinburgh Council,

I'm requesting traffic light footage for a motorbike collision I was involved in on 20/09/20 at around 20.50pm this happened on the junction of inverleith Row/ ferry road I was heading straight over the junction going towards drylaw and a car pulled out the right hand turn lane to turn up inverleith Row and I hit straight in to the side of him he his trying to say that the collision was my fault so I need the footage for my insurance company

Thank you for your request for information of 24/09/2020 which was received on 24/09/2020. In your request you asked for the following;

I'm requesting traffic light footage for a motorbike collision I was involved in on 20/09/20 at around 20.50pm. This happened on the junction of Inverleith Row/Ferry Road. I was heading straight over the junction going towards Drylaw and a car pulled out the right hand turn lane to turn up Inverleith Row and I went straight in to the side of him.

I can confirm that your request will be processed under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Environmental Information Regulations (Scotland) 2004, or the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009.

You will receive the information requested within 20 working days unless the Council does not hold the information, or there is a reason for it to be withheld. We will write to you in any event. This means we have until 22/10/2020 to respond to your request.

Your request has been processed under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the information requested because it is not held by the Council.

The City of Edinburgh Council has no public space CCTV cameras with coverage of the location described and consequently we will be unable to provide any data in connection with this incident.

In addition, we do not have any traffic light footage for Ferry Road/Inverleith Row. None of the traffic signal installation within the city have a recording CCTV facility.
