Total net spending on housing homeless applicants in temporary accommodation
Dear FOI Team,
I write to make an amended request for information relating to the total NET (rather than gross) spending on the provision of temporary accommodation for those registering as homeless made by this council between the years 2015 and 2021
As part of this request I would like the information to be broken down into the following:
(i) The number of people placed into temporary accommodation after making a homeless application, broken down into year-by-year;
(ii) The average length of stay in temporary accommodation after making a homeless application;
(iii) The five longest periods of stay in temporary accommodation after making a homeless application;
(v) The total cost of temporary accommodation to the council, broken down into costs per night, per month and per year.
Yours faithfully,
Oliver Murphy

Dear Mr Murphy.
Thank you for providing the reference number. Your query below would be
considered as a new request as CAM2613 requested
(i) The number of people placed into temporary
accommodation after making a homeless application, broken down into
year-by-year;
Your query below is asking for information on the number of households so
would be considered a new request and so you would need to submit as such,
however, you may find that this information may already be published on
our Open Data Portal.
Please click on the following link and enter ‘temporary accommodation’ or
‘homeless application’ in the ‘find in this dataset’ search field to view
them, particularly FOI12913, CAM2311.
