Tony Redmond. Study Tour of Australia by The Chairman Document

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman Nid oedd gan y wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani.

Dear Local Government Ombudsmen,

On March 8 2005 a document written by Deputy Chief Executive Nigel Karney titled "Study Tour of Australia by the Chairman" was presented to the Commission for
approval of expenditure of taxpayers' funds on travel and holiday by the Chairman (and his wife). This document contained not only contradictory statements but statements that seem to be completely untrue.

It resulted in what appears to be a fraudulent misuse of public funds and gives the impression it was written in the way it was to achieve that result.

Please confirm that Tony Redmond had read and approved this document before it was presented on behalf of himself (and his wife) to the Commission.

Yours faithfully

Mr R Smith
