been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

How many, and to whom are metro cards provided?

 

170 MCards are currently in use.

 

They are available to employees (including KNH and Councillors) to cover
their commuting costs to and from work by public transport within West
Yorkshire

We do not provide any Metro Cards for commuting free of charge. All Metro Cards are paid for up front by the Council, and then costs recovered from employee salary each period.
