Dear FOI, Essexccgs (NHS BASILDON AND BRENTWOOD CCG),
Thank you for the information
"Could you please provide the figures for the number of TMS IFR requests for depression that
have been made and how many have received CCG funding?
Overall, there have been 6 requests made in total, and none has been approved."
As the Essex CCG were formerly STP and are now some new NHS incarnation, therefore supposed to use the same policies and procedures with IFR decision making.
Therefore why has mid essex ccg always reject TMS IFR requests up until 11/05/2022?
And, for example, Basildon and Brentwood CCG have approved all 13 IFR requests for TMS made up until 27th May 2020?
Please take into consideration that Eput has confirmed IFR requests for TMS from would have been checked by the Eput TMS team at Brentwood to make sure they are worded correctly to obtain funding.
