Timing of law offers

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am interested in the dates at which offers were given out for your undergraduate law courses (both the LLB and any Law with courses such as Law with Politics) during the previous UCAS admissions cycle (autumn 2018 - summer 2019).

I would therefore like to request a list of the dates on which undergraduate law offers were sent out in the previous admissions cycle, as well as the number of offers that were sent out on each of the dates.

The list could look like this:
Date 1 - 15 offers
Date 2 - 25 offers
Date 3 - 0 offers
Date 4 - 12 offers

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,
Kat Ammann

Dear Ms Ammann

Please find attached information as requested. The data uses the date when an offer letter was generated – this could be 24hours after an offer was posted on UCAS. This information relates to September 2019 starters on all LLB courses in the School of Law and will include those who applied in the previous cycle for a deferred place.

Applications for the above courses closed on 15th January, later offers will generally be for international students or those with missing information without which we were unable to make a conditional or unconditional offer.

I hope this is helpful in resolving your query. If you have any questions about this email, however, please don't hesitate to contact me.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, you should write to or email directly Mr D Wardle, Deputy Secretary, The University of Leeds, Leeds, LS2 9JT ([email address]). You should do so within 40 working days of receiving the University’s response to your request. Further information about how the University manages Freedom of Information requests and about our complaints procedure is also available on our website (www.leeds.ac.uk).

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.  Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the review/complaints procedure provided by the University.  The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:  Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Best wishes,

Tracey Crombie
