Timetables for your Rubbish Lorries and Recycling Lorries collection.

Mid Sussex District Council Nid oedd gan y wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani.

Dear Mid Sussex District Council,

I would like to request the current full detailed timetables for your Rubbish Lorries and Recycling Lorries showing the routes that they take and which days and times they will be on each road and each location. So basically something like a bus timetable but for your Rubbish Lorries and Recycling Lorries instead. Many thanks.

Yours faithfully,

John Smith

Freedom of Information, Mid Sussex District Council

Dear Mr Smith,

Thank you for your request. Please find our response below.

The council believes that this information is exempt from release by virtue of Section 43 - Commercial Interests. This exemption is subject to the public interest test. In this particular case, it is considered that the public interest in releasing the information does not outweigh the public interest in withholding the information. Our contractors are currently in the middle of contractual bidding. The release of route information would prejudice the ability of Serco to tender on a level playing field with other bidders and it is important in public procurement that a level playing field is provided to all bidders to result in the most economically beneficial outcome for public authorities.

If for whatever reason you are unhappy with our response you are entitled to pursue any dissatisfaction, in the first instance, by contacting Tom Clark, Solicitor to the Council, Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS, email: [email address], quoting your Reference Number.

If you still remain dissatisfied with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner - details available at: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/.

Information provided under the FOI Act 2000 or the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 may be not be re-used, except for personal study and non-commercial research or for news reporting and reviews, without the permission of the Council. Please see the Council website https://www.midsussex.gov.uk/about-us/op..., for further information or contact the FOI Team on 01444 477422.

yours sincerely,
