Dear Mr Vahi,

Your request re Tier 4 and the assigning of CAS’s was received on March
28^th 2012 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

Leeds College of Music believes that your question can best be answered by
the UK Border agency (UKBA) and that if you were to contact them they
would be prepared to respond to your FOI request.

The address of the UKBA FOI team is
[1]http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/naviga...

Therefore, Leeds College of Music is declining your request on the grounds
that the information you have requested is available by other means
(Exemption Section 21) and is directing you to the UKBA.

I trust this sufficiently answers your information request. If you do
require specific institutional data, I am happy to help but would need
more time as we have a small admissions team and they are currently
extremely busy processing UCAS applications.

Yours sincerely

Dear Leeds College of Music,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Leeds College of Music's handling of my FOI request 'Tier 4'.

[ Under the Freedom of Information Act, you are liable to provide all the information as requested. You cannot shift the burden of information to some other organization body like UKBA. The information which has been requested are those information which should be always handy with the educational institution because these information needs to be reported to UKBA directly under the sponsorship duties. So I hope you would be able to reply me within the stipulated time.
