A1 to A10) We compile and keep data in order to meet our own operational
needs, and in order to fulfil our statutory reporting requirements to
relevant external bodies and to fulfil our obligations to our internal and
external auditors. We neither compile, keep, nor hold data for any other
purpose.

We are unable to provide the data requested as this is not specific
information that is currently compiled and recorded on our systems on an
on-going basis. To compile and ensure the accuracy of this data we would need
to request a current member of staff to work on this for at least 20 hours of
additional time. We would need to request a current member of staff to do
this as temporary staff would not be allowed the required access to our

appropriate person. The cost would be £22.79 per hour which is a total of
£455.80.

Having reviewed your request in detail the cost of providing the data that

Section 12 of the Act:

'12 Exemption where cost of compliance exceeds appropriate limit.

(1) Section 1(1) does not oblige a public authority to comply with a request

the request would exceed the appropriate limit.

Dear University of East London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of University of East London's handling of my FOI request 'Tier 4'.

[ Under the Freedom of Information Act, you are liable to provide all the information as requested. You cannot shift the burden of information to some other organization body like UKBA. The information which has been requested are those information which should be always handy with the educational institution because these information needs to be reported to UKBA directly under the sponsorship duties. So I hope you would be able to reply me within the stipulated time.
