General Data Protection Regulations 2018: Subject Access Request (SAR)
Thank you for your enquiry of 07/02/2019 requesting information from Her
Majesty’s Passport Office regarding your British citizenship. Before I
can consider your request further I would be grateful if you could provide
the following as required under the General Data Protection Regulations
* Evidence of your identity such as a photocopy of the personal details
page of your passport or a photocopy of your driving licence.
* Please provide a postal OR email address to which our result letter
can be sent.
* Any other information that you can supply which might help us to
locate the details which you are seeking. This should include your
full name, place and date of birth and details of any UK passport held
in a different name.
* The requested documents (other than originals which must be sent by
post) can be sent to us as scanned images attached to an email in
reply to this.
* Any original documents will be copied and sent back to you, but
photocopies you send to us will only be returned upon your written
request. Please be aware that, under the provisions of the General
Data Protection Regulations 2018, HM Passport Office has up to 1
calendar month to process the request after all of the above have been
