The Principles of Selection for Listed Buildings
Dear Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport,
Your 2018 publication "The Principles of Selection for Listed Buildings" states on page 8:
"Note 1:
Historic England publishes a range of Listing Selection Guides (https://www.historicengland.org.uk). ..... Their content does not form part of the Secretary of State’s policy or guidance on listing."
In light of Note 1 and except for your 2018 publication 'The Principles of Selection for Listed Buildings', where else is the Secretary of State's policy and guidance on listing to be found ?
Please can you furnish me with a copy of any (internal or published) policy and guidance that the SS relies on in making its decision for listing and delisting of buildings. If there is nothing else other than the 2018 publication, please confirm.
Yours faithfully,
D. Kol
