freedom of information, North Norfolk District Council

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your request for information.

In respect of the first element of your request regarding discussions about the Norfolk Coast Partnership area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), I would be grateful if you could be more specific in the information that you wish to request as the Council discuss the AONB on a regular and extensive basis and therefore to deal with the request on this basis, would mean that the request would exceed the appropriate limit for dealing with requests.

The appropriate limit is specified in regulations and is set at £450. This represents the estimated cost of one person spending 2 ½ working days in determining whether the department holds the information, and locating, retrieving and extracting the information. Under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act the Council is not obliged to comply with your request.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request an internal review of our decision, you should write to me at the above address within 2 months of the date of this letter.

I look forward to hearing further from you in order that we are able to assist with your request.

Yours faithfully
