Dear Nottingham City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Nottingham City Council's handling of my FOI request 'The Former bus garage, 270-276 Huntingdon Street, Nottingham NG1 3NA'.

Please re-examine the part of the original information held by Nottingham City Council relevant to this request, which was provided to me as pages 27 - 40 inclusive of the document "12719 Redacted.pdf " (from the page with the green block at the top to the end of the document inclusive).

Please re-provide to me all information I am entitled to have therein in a format that is conventionally intelligible. Where NCC believe they are entitled to redactions please show what volume of information is redacted, and what right of redaction is claimed.

As a word of explanation, in the format provided so far there are clearly letters, and likely words and phrases too missing in places, and tops and tails of emails and job titles appear missing too.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

Simon Barton

Dear Nottingham City Council,

Freedom Of Information, Nottingham City Council

Dear Mr Barton, thank you for your email.

We apologise for the delay in providing a response to your request for an internal review. Unlike Freedom of Information requests, there is no statutory time frame for carrying out internal reviews, the council aim to provide a full response within 20 working days, however due to a high volume of requests received recently and only two officers in the council processing FOI requests and reviews, we have been unable to provide a response to your internal review request within this timeframe.

The Section 45 - Code of Practice advises in most cases it is expected a response to an internal review to take no longer than 20 working days however in exceptional circumstances a response can be provided in 40 working days, I can therefore advise you that we aim to provide a response to your request for an internal review on or before 18 December.

Once again we apologise for the delay.

Dear Freedom Of Information,

Respectfully, do you have any news for me?

Quoting the end of the last letter to me , Nottingham FOI Team wrote:

As we are today the 19th December may I have the information I am entitled by law to have, please?

Yours sincerely,

Simon Barton

Freedom Of Information, Nottingham City Council

Dear Mr Barton, I am sorry for the delay in the responses to your FOI request 12934 and internal review. I have been off sick recently and unfortunately this coincided with the other FOI officer being on annual leave. As there are only 2 officers who handle FOI requests for the council and we receive over 100 requests a month you can imagine this has had an impact on some of our response deadlines not being met recently.

Unfortunately I will be unable to address your requests before the end of this week and I am on annual leave from Friday. However I am proposing to work from home on Monday and focus solely on your request so I can pull together the responses to both for FOI request and internal review. I apologise for the delay and thank you for your understanding with this matter.
