The 'D Day revisited society' receipt of Libor Grant Funding

We're waiting for James Jones to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Her Majesty’s Treasury,

With regards to this announcement:

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/libor...

On the 12th of July 2016 the following announcement was made on the Gov.uk website that:

"The Chancellor has announced today (Tuesday 12 July 2016) that 9 charities, including a cause supported by the late Jo Cox MP, will receive over £14 million funding"

One of the grants mentioned was £2.25 million to support D-Day veteran visits to Normandy, including the 75th anniversary in 2018

Another direct quote from the announcement "The Royal British Legion and D-Day Revisited charities’ organised annual returns to Normandy will be supported with funding of £2.25 million. With the 75th anniversary of D-Day in 2018, the award will help veterans make both group and individual visits to remember their own contribution to this country’s freedom and remember those that died"

Can you please confirm if:

1. The D Day revisited society, registered Charity no. 1129753 had previously been awarded any other Libor grant funding prior to this anouncement on the 12.07.16, specifically £750,000 between the dates of the 27.04.15 and the 01.07.16

2. The exact amount allocated to The D Day revisited Society as part of the 2.25 million pound grant

3. The date this money was paid to the D Day revisited charity and if it was paid in one payment or over a period of time after the announcement on the 12.07.16

Yours faithfully,

James Jones
