Dear Ministry of Defence,
What added Information do you require, Pre 1975 veterans had to serve 22 years for a pension if they did not make the 22 they lost a pension also the promised by recruiting Gratuities. I had a tax rebate and that was that after nearly 14 years of service pre 1975.....thousand lost their pension and gratuities. I would like to know due to this fact how much money did the MOD save by not paying the Gratuities. There must be records held.
