Teaching School Alliances, Multi Academy Trusts, ect

The request was successful.

Dear DFE

I wonder if you are able to help supply me with the following information.

I am seeking a list of all schools that belong to establishment groups or alliances (such as but not limited to Multi Academy Trusts) in the South East GOR.
After working through the GIAS tool, I cannot find a function that allows me to extract this data. I know the data is contained as the generic list as it is available here:
https://get-information-schools.service....
However, when I download this information, it is missing the names of the establishments within the groups.
I know the data is stored within GIAS, if you click on the first result *Co-op Brent Knoll and Watergate Co-operative Trust you can follow the second tab “schools” which details two schools Brent Knoll School & Watergate School.
This data is also not structured in a way that allows me to filter by location, LEA, etc, should I wish to try and manually search through the 5852 records and then extract each individual record.
Do you have access to the raw data files that you could send over, or can you suggest a work around within GIAS?

Many thanks in advance

Mac

We have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Under section 21 of the Act, the department is not required to provide
information in response to a request if it is already reasonably
accessible to you. This response provides you with further guidance to
locate this information.

The file “All group links records.csv” is available to download form the
Downloads section of the GIAS website and contains details of each
establishment in each MAT etc. This file can be filtered by type of group
and you can attach the GOR from the “All establishment data” file using
the URN.

Get Information about Schools (GIAS) data is available to download from
the Downloads section of the GIAS website here:
