Taxes on rental income
Dear HM Revenue and Customs,
Please advise if it’s legal to add registered owners names to a property other than the actual owners for the purposes of paying less tax. In this case the other owners in question receive no beneficial interest such as rents etc, but must still pay taxes on rent they never received.
