Our response
Bolton One cost £32 million (whole building including University, Leisure
and Health area), Horwich build was £9.8 million. The Council contracted
with Bolton Community Leisure Trust to manage its leisure centres in 2004
and Serco are the Trust’s Managing Agent. Club use at individual
facilities that were in place at the start of the contract are required to
be maintained unless approved by the Council. Class programmes can be
determined by the operator.
