Police Scotland did not have the information requested.

Dear Police Scotland,

What information do you hold on supervised consumption since feb 2017 . Has a decision been taken by anyone on this matter at Police Scotland. Do you hold any records fro meetings regarding this subject matter.

Do have any records from meetings with Police Scotland and stakeholders regarding supervised consumption areas/injecting sites and what view they hold on this initiative and who has made the statements.

Dear Police Scotland,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

Thank you for your response, I understand that Police Scotland does hold the information requested and therefore request a review on the refusal to release it.

I also kindly ask for the relevant subsection of Section 17 which is the reason stated for refusal to disclose.

Dear Police Scotland,
Thank you for your response. I have concerns regarding quoted statement below

'...In addition, Police Scotland have made no comment in relation to the concept. '

There are 2 contradictory statements that have been made to the press anonymously on behalf of police scotland.

1 being in favour of the initiative http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/10/...

and the the other being against. https://www.pressreader.com/uk/scottish-...

I hope you can understand my concerns regarding lack of transparency, consistency and accountability on this serious issue.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Mcdade

Dear Police Scotland,

Thank you for your response. No matter how the responses are framed in terms of FOI legislation, I'm still concerned about a lack of transparency and non-attributed/contradictory statements being made to the press . I've re-posted my original request in April for fuller context. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Thank you for advising on how to further proceed with this request.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Mcdade
