Subject Access Request DPA
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
On average how quickly are subject access requests processed?
I called job centre plus at Dingwall Road, Croydon and the phone was put down on me at 5pm. Is this typical of your staff and if so what disciplinary action is taken regarding call handlers?
I sent the relevant forms off for Mrs Patricia Towner to request an income support statement. Who do I contact directly get this sorted as the automated phone line is not helpful and staff put the phone down when valid requests and enquiries are made.
Is the a data protection lead and is there an email address or dedicated phone line?
Can scanned copies of the request and information be sent by secure government email such as nhs.net?
Yours faithfully,
Dr [name removed] [name removed]

"On average how quickly are subject access requests processed?"
The Information Commissioner allows 40 days, whereas Grimsby Jobcentre took 111 days to provide the information.
P.S. They would never have done unless prompted.
Dear Mr [name removed],
Please find attached DWP response to your recent Freedom of Information

Phoned up DWP - again phone put down as they probably do with claimants. I am simply trying to get some data for a subject access request made in Croydon with all the relevant paperwork filled out already and posted.
