The Information Governance Team acts as a single gateway for processing
all SAR’s as they come in, the requests are allocated to services once
they have been logged, acknowledged and ID verified for new requests. For
further details see the Council SAR Policy.

Co-ordinating the SAR process falls within the remit of the Senior
Information Governance Officer and Information Governance Officer.

Departments handle the gathering of information and subsequent
