Betts, Lorraine, Exeter City Council

Thank you for your request for information. Please see below the responses we have been able to provide. The council tax database can only report the total amount of monetary value for all exemptions in a financial year and not for each type of exemption.

In terms of 'purpose built student accommodation' are you referring to halls of residence? If so, we can supply the numbers but not the monetary value.

Exeter City Council is committed to openness and transparency. If you wish to request a review of either our decision, or the way your request has been handled, please write to the Council's Corporate Manager at the address below. Your request will be considered in line with our Review Procedure. Full details of this procedure, including your right of appeal to the Information Commissioner, are available on our website at www.exeter.gov.uk/foi.

Dear Betts, Lorraine,

Supplying the total amount of monetary value for all exemptions in a financial year will be fine for all non purpose built student accomodation (halls of residence). The number of purpose built halls without the monetary value will also be adequate. Thank you for your assistance in my request

Yours sincerely,

T Harper
