Student Conduct Panel sexual misconduct hearings and outcomes, 2014/15 - 2019/20

We're waiting for Mark Redfern to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Cardiff University,

I'd like access to the anonymised statistics of student on student complaints of sexual misconduct (including "unwanted sexual contact", "sexual assault", and "rape") that have been heard by the Student Conduct Panel (SCP) and outcomes (including "no action taken" rulings) by year between 2014/15 - 2019/20.

Within this, please include a breakdown of all types of outcome ruled by the SCP by year and by type of offence.

For example:

2019/20
Total sexual misconduct hearings: 36
Unwanted sexual contact - 12 total, 6 no contact ordered, 3 expelled, 3 no action taken
Sexual assault - 12 total, 6 no contact ordered, 3 expelled, 3 no action taken
Rape - 12 total, 6 no contact ordered, 3 expelled, 3 no action taken

In addition to this, I'd also be very grateful for a complete list of staff sitting on the SCP. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience if this request would be outside of the scope of the Act because of the time it would take to collate the information and I will tighten my request to the legislation.

Please provide your response in PDF form for ease of accessibility.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Redfern
