Dear Universities UK,

I hope this finds you well.

I am Kourosh Ziabari, studying MA International Multimedia Journalism at the University of Kent's Centre for Journalism on a Chevening Award by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I’m detailing my query as specifically as possible.

I would like to request the following details:

* How many students enrolled in one-year master's programmes of study in the universities subscribing to/part of the Universities UK, beginning in September 2016, are sharing their flats, in university-affiliated accomodations, with undergraduate students?

Please provide a full breakdown of the number of postgraduate students sharing with undergraduates per each University, identified by the name of the university, and the relevant accommodation provider.

I would like to receive the information as a .pdf file sent to my email. If you need further clarification, please contact me on my email address.

If my request is denied in whole or in part, I ask that you justify all deletions or omissions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt materials.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as outlined by statute.

Yours sincerely,

Kourosh Ziabari
