Dear Ms Watt,

 

I am writing to confirm that the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust has
now completed its search for the information which you requested on
05/08/20 and can respond as follows:

 

• Information Governance and Data Protection:

1. How many FTE positions do you have that are responsible for:

1a. Investigating data protection incidents (3 WTE but only if referring
to IG team – numerous other staff within the Trust would help investigate
data protection incidents and couldn’t put a number on this so the
question may require clarity)

1b. Liaising with the ICO (3 WTE again if counting the IG team only –
anyone can liaise with the ICO if they wish)

1c. Conducting IG audits (3 WTE – the IG team)

1e. Ensuring the trust is compliant with IG training (IG team of 3 WTE
would record compliance but individuals/managers have a duty to ensure
staff are compliant with their IG training)

1f. Ensuring the IG toolkit is completed (3 WTE again the IG team who have
a responsibility to ensure submissions/publications are made. Numerous
other staff have responsibility to provide the evidence within to the IG
team)

2. What band are they? If only counting the IG would be 1 x 8a, and 2 x 6.

3. Which department in your Trust do they sit under? (IG sit within IM&T)

 

 

• FOI:

FOI requests? 0.8WTE

• Archiving: archiving of our historical paper medical records is part of
our Business As Usual (BAU) and is currently under the Health Records
Department it is not identified to selected roles

current or historic archiving?

3. Which department in your Trust is responsible for your archiving
contract?
