Dear Sarah

Every other water company is capable and able to produce this information, and it is not entirely clear why you are not able to produce this information.

Another water company has provided me with the entire spreadsheet of works for me to sift through, so perhaps that is a solution?

Nonetheless, I am left with no alternative but to request an internal review, with a view to referring the matter to the ICO.

Thank you for your further email of 2 April regarding your EIR request. I am sorry that you have had cause to write to us again regarding this matter.

We have asked within Bristol Water further and found the following information. We are sorry that this information was not easily available at first but we hope you will find this helpful.

In January 2017, 1066 works were undertaken in the highway by Bristol Water. 1051 were actually completed in January, 95% of those works were carried out as first time reinstatements.

The average durations for these works were:

• Urgent works 2.4 days
• Minor works 1.4 days
• Standard works 7 days
• Major works 36 days

There are two large schemes under major works having been on-going:

• October 2016 to April 2018 – Southern Resilience Scheme (Barrow to Cheddar)
• May 2016 to December 2017 – Easton Mains Renewal (Clifton to Easton)

Three Renovations schemes covering water mains/service replacements were on- going during January 2017.

• Whitchurch Lane, Bristol
• Nunney Catch, Frome
• Manor Road, Frome
